Performing at a SHCN Live Event can be equal parts energizing, exciting, rewarding – and yes – even a bit intimidating.
Our events are presented in micro-venues where the capacity is almost always less than 100 and more often than not max cap is about 45 people – including the artists.
As an artist, you will be the center of attention for the audience. You will be invited to join the audience and the hosts for a potluck meal before the concert. Audience members will be able to interact with you prior to your performance. There’s no room for anonymity at a SHCN Live Event. And that’s by design. We want you to connect with your audience.
We will ensure you are properly fed and watered. Let us know what your dietary restrictions and preferences are and we will do our best to ensure your meals are healthy and to your liking.
SHCN accommodations are usually in B&Bs or Air BnB properties – and on rare occasions on host properties. We strive to provide you with safe, comfortable, and quiet places to stay and our hosts have been known to make arrangements so you can get your tour laundry washed and dried in time for the next gig.
At SHCN we know how to connect the dots. So if you’ve got a hankering for an award-winning croissant or a killer cappuccino or you need a massage or maybe you just want to borrow a pair of snowshoes and wander the fields with the host’s dog – we can help make that happen.
